The last two generations of the iPhone SE have been almost indistinguishable visually, but that looks set to change with the next release in the series. According to rumors, this device will offer a significantly updated design, including slimmer bezels.
The iPhone SE from the beginning of 2022 kept the retro design with thick frames and a home button below the screen, in which the Touch ID fingerprint scanner is integrated. However, the next generation would be more reminiscent of the iPhone Xr, which means a larger 6.1″ display with thin bezels, a notch and the removal of the home button, according to analyst Ross Young, quoted by MacRumors.
It is not certain whether the Face ID system will be offered on the night in question and how big it will be.
Earlier it was rumored that the iPhone SE could have a fingerprint scanner again, only built into the power button.
The rumors sound adequate, considering that the models in this series traditionally rely on an older design, and Apple has already started to replace the night with Dynamic Island. The fourth generation iPhone SE is rumored to arrive only in 2024.
