Early previews suggested that the iPhone SE 4 would be called the iPhone SE (2024) and be based on the iPhone XR.
The Gen X was the first to ditch Touch ID and leave Face ID as the only biometric authentication method, and now the SE series is expected to join when the phone arrives.
