We noticed last week that Apple’s A16 Bionic SoC, which supports the recently launched iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, is also not working properly. Synthetic Geekbench Test. This raises a lot of questions in the minds of Apple fans and technicians who are thinking of switching to the latest major Apple release.

However, a recent Antutu review suggests that Apple is relying more on the GPU than the CPU for the A16 Bionic SoC. Looking at the test results, everything looks good for the new iPhone 14 Pro range.

This iPhone 14 Pro scored 9,78,147 points, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max scored 9,72,936. This is an increase of about 19% over the iPhone 13 series.

The interesting thing is to note that since then the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have used the iPhone 13 Pro Duo chipset, also being compared to the iPhone 14 series. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have also been upgraded to 6GB RAM.

Looking at the issue, CPU performance increased by 17% and RAM score increased by 10%. However, it’s a really impressive GPU with a 28% jump over the previous generation.

Given that this is a huge increase across generations, and perhaps the highest in recent years, it’s a bit surprising that Apple didn’t use this data when presenting it.

In comparison, AnTuTu’s preliminary results for the iPhone 13 Pro last year showed a 17% increase in CPU scores over the Gen 12 Pro and 19% for the GPU. Last year impressive memory of more than 44%.

Note that the iPhone 14 Pro pair we tested had 1TB of storage, which gives it a slight edge over the lower capacity model. However, the A16 chipset shows strong performance improvements over last year’s chips.

Note that this year’s flagship Android device running Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is in the 1,000,000 Asus ROG Phone 6 1,110,172 points overall, 261,708 in CPU testing and 469,592 in GPU testing.
